CPG: A Year in Review

A year in review

As 2022 draws to a close, it’s time to look back and reflect on how far we’ve come!

2022 was an incredible year for Concept Projects Group, with many successes and achievements that have developed us as one of the leading engineering projects companies in the North West.

Growth

Our Growth

At the beginning of the year, our team primarily focused on the food, beverage, and homecare industry. Today, we’ve expanded our team, incorporating skilled professionals from these sectors and others such as personal care, pharmaceutical, chemical, warehousing, and construction.

Our diverse team is thrilled to deliver projects to the highest standards efficiently, with a focus on professionalism and approachability. We’ve also doubled our client base this year. Engineering, Project, Procurement, and Operations Managers from multiple blue-chip companies trust us for various stages of their projects, from FEED studies to commissioning and final handover.

Among our successful turnkey projects are those for esteemed clients like Unilever UK, Alpla Group, CHEP, Ipsen Biopharm, Coty, Lanxess, John West, and many more!

Project Highlights

As the project lead partner, we executed a manufacturing line for a cutting-edge innovation, collaborating with global and local teams. Our efforts ensured a successful vertical ramp-up solution, achieving record commissioning results and introducing exciting new products to the market.

Additionally, we provided a turnkey delivery of a 1000 sq.m office refurbishment and full fit-out for Unilever UK’s flagship building, Lever House. Together with trusted partners, we transformed the grade II listed area into a modern and relaxing workspace for employees.

Another noteworthy project involved preparing Quorn Foods for BRC auditing assessment and accreditation. We guided the site leadership team and offered end-to-end services, ultimately securing an impressive AA rating by BRC assessors.

Paul, Quorn Site General Manager, commented on the project “I would like to say a big thank you to the CPG team for the work they carried out on site and the manner in which they did it. Professionalism was shown from start to finish and they kept to our site health and safety best practices throughout the project. We are very pleased with the quality of service they provided and would contact them again if we needed any help in the future.”

Branding

Website & Rebrand

In the Summer, we collaborated with Katalyst Creative, a web design agency based in the Wirral. Our goal was to create a new and improved website, presenting a better representation of our company and offering enhanced user navigation. As we expanded into new industries and extended our range of services, updating our website became essential to showcase our growth.

Chris Davies, Director at Katalyst Creative commented on the project: “We were delighted for the opportunity to work with Concept Projects Group on their recent rebrand and new website, and we are excited to assist them with their digital marketing and supporting them with their continued success.”

Community

That’s not all…

Amidst all of this, it’s incredible to believe that we’ve also celebrated our 4th birthday, and we’re amazed by the meteoric success achieved in such a short time! Our team office space has quadrupled, and we’ve made significant progress in health and safety, earning Alcumus SafeContractor accreditation with zero incidents for another year. Additionally, we take immense pride in sponsoring local grassroots football tournaments and teams, a cause close to our hearts.

So, it’s been a busy, exciting, and highly productive year for Concept Projects Group. Looking ahead, we have several exciting projects planned for the coming year and ongoing discussions with potential new clients. In January, we eagerly await the arrival of a new Business Development Manager and a Senior Project Manager. As always, we remain committed to supporting our existing clients in the most professional and cost-effective manner, strengthening our already solid relationships.

We wish all our clients, colleagues, and collaborators a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We look forward to working with you in 2023!
