At Concept Project Group we have a vision to change the environmental landscape for the manufacturing sector and are passionate about being a responsible business. Our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy addresses where we can maximise our positive impact on our clients, the environment and society as a whole.
Environmental
We place the environment at the heart of everything we do and firmly believe that small steps can make a big impact.
Our office commitments include using zero-carbon energy and recycling all of our waste. Our project management team have committed to:
- Eating more plant-based meals or less carbon-intensive meats
- Using reusable water bottles and coffee cups
- Not using or buying single-use plastic
- Being a paperless office
We always consider the best solutions for the planet in our projects, aiming to reduce energy and water usage. By doing so, we benefit both our clients and the environment, demonstrating our dedication to sustainability in every aspect of our work.
Like many SMEs, Concept Projects Group has a small carbon footprint. As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability, we have measured our scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions and validated them with Carbon Neutral Britain. By using their Climate Fund™, we have offset our carbon footprint, supporting renewable projects around the world. This effort is a key part of our ESG roadmap, guiding our sustainable progress and alignment with the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Social
At Concept Projects Group, community involvement is a core part of our company values. We recognise the importance of building strong relationships with the communities we serve.
For the past two years, we have been delighted to be the main sponsor of the New Ferry Rangers FC local grassroots football tournament. Consequently, our logo is proudly worn by the Shaftesbury Youth team, showcasing our support.
In addition to supporting grassroots football, we actively engage with local families and foster relationships with fellow businesses in the Wirral, Merseyside and North West regions.
We believe that creating a culture of safety is essential for the success of any project. Therefore, we prioritise health and safety in everything we do. One of our core company values is ensuring that everyone goes home in the same condition, or better than as they arrived at work.
To stay up to date with the latest best practices and regulations, our team undertakes regular training, including APM and CDM. Moreover, all of our project managers complete IOSH Managing Safely training as a standard to ensure our projects are delivered safely. As a result, we are proud to have had zero lost-time accidents or first-aid cases on any of our projects.
In addition to providing training opportunities, we offer complimentary gym memberships to all team members, positively impacting their well-being. Furthermore, the team benefits from regular social events, fostering a positive work environment.

SafePQQ accreditation serves as a comprehensive assessment of our commitment to sustainability across various key areas. This includes finance, environment, quality management, equality, modern slavery, anti-bribery, GDPR compliance, right to work, building information modelling, and references.
Looking ahead, we are working towards ISO9001 and ISO14001 certification to further support our company mission. These certifications will enhance our commitment to quality management and environmental responsibility.
