Site Infrastructure Upgrades

Overview:

Concept Projects Group completed a project for one of the UK’s largest food producers. The project aimed to improve the site-wide infrastructure by installing a delivery canopy to protect goods from weather and enhance operational efficiency during loading and unloading.

During our initial site survey, additional areas of improvement were identified, leading to the implementation of the following measures:

  • Traffic Management Plan including a one-way system, lorry bays, hatched area for deliveries and a stop line for reversing
  • Site Access Management including entrance marking, visitor parking and drop-off zones
  • Site Navigation including route markings and pedestrian crossings

Scope Deliverables:

  • Project Management
  • Site Survey
  • Contractor Sourcing
  • Contractor Management including issuing a hot work permit
  • Installation Management
  • Safe Systems of Work Implementation (RAMS)
  • Snagging and Sign-off
  • Handover Package

Result:

The project was delivered on time, within budget, and with zero lost time accidents. The new infrastructure and markings were implemented without disrupting deliveries, production, or shift changeovers.
